The new Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition has included a pledge to ban the use of animals to test household products in its joint plans for government.  This is a major achievement for the BUAV.

A big thank you to all of you who wrote to your MPs on this crucial issue!

We'll be bringing our campaign to all of the major party conferences during September and October. You can keep up to date with all the news from the conferences by following the BUAV on Twitter.

The BUAV has led the campaign to end the cruel and unnecessary use of animals in household product testing.  Our high profile and successful campaign, Clean Up Cruelty gained widespread support from politicians, retailers and the public.
