The BUAV has today awarded LGNS London the Leaping Bunny trademark as it only sells products that are certified free from animal testing under the BUAV’s Humane Cosmetics Standard.
LGNS London is a cruelty free beauty boutique, selling beauty products exclusively online. They seek to offer their customers the best quality, cruelty free, natural products at affordable prices.
LGNS London joins nearly 400 companies certified under the BUAV’s Humane Cosmetics Standard. Visit the newly re-designed GoCrueltyFree.org to find the full range of products available in your area and sign the No Cruel Cosmetics petition to end animal testing for cosmetics sold in the EU.
BUAV’s international certification is the gold standard which guarantees products are free from animal testing from a fixed cut-off date. The Leaping Bunny trademark enables consumers to easily identify and purchase cosmetics and toiletries that have not been tested on animals.
Chief Executive of the BUAV, Michelle Thew states: “We are pleased to certify LGNS London as a cruelty-free company/retailer, offering more choice for people who want to lead a cruelty-free lifestyle.”
Owner of LGNS London, Gitana Bulatova said: “Here, at LGNS London, we are huge animal lovers and animal rights supporters. And we love beauty. And in our belief, no animal should suffer for it.”
Qualifying for the BUAV’s Humane Cosmetics Standard is a rigorous and stringent process. As well as guaranteeing that no product or ingredient has been tested on animals from a verifiable date, each company undergoes independent audits to ensure that the Standard's strict criteria are adhered to.
