BUAV welcomes Dr Nick Palmer, former MP for Broxtowe


The BUAV is pleased to announce the appointment of former Labour MP for Broxtowe, Dr Nick Palmer, as its new Director of International and Corporate Affairs.

Dr Palmer was Labour MP for Broxtowe from 1997 until 2010, and has a long history of working on animal welfare issues. The BUAV has previously worked with him in his role as vice-chair of the All-Party Animal Welfare Group. Dr Palmer has also undertaken the role of Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Animal Welfare Minister and chair of the Parliamentary group for the Fund for the Replacement of Animals in Medical Experiments.
