Whether you decide to shop online, or in-store, this festive season please ensure you put the animals first and only buy gifts that have not been tested on animals. Look for the Leaping Bunny logo when choosing your gifts to be confident that no animals will have been harmed for cosmetics testing.
The Leaping Bunny scheme is an internationally recognised certification by Cruelty Free International, the BUAV’s sister organization, and guarantees a company does not test its cosmetics and toiletries on animals. There are over 500 cosmetic and personal care companies to choose from, including leading make-up brands Beautiful Movements and Urban Decay and luxury toiletries such as Molton Brown and Liz Earle.
Both Marks and Spencer and Superdrug’s own cosmetic and personal toiletry ranges are certified cruelty-free and feature the Leaping Bunny logo, with both stores often being the go-to place on the High Street to buy gifts for loved ones at this festive time.
With so many labels and logos on bottles and dispensers, it can be hard to know exactly what guarantees you a non-animal tested supply chain. The Leaping Bunny logo is theonly guarantee of such a supply chain for production, from ingredients to final product. It is also the only cruelty-free list where independent auditors actually assess the company’s claims as proof of no animal testing, rather than just taking their word for it.
The suggestions above not quite what you want for your seasonal shopping?
Then why not try…Arbonne, The Body Shop, The Co-operative, Bulldog Natural Skincare, Spa Ritual, Montagne Jeunesse or Shangri La Organics, just a few of the companies to choose from on our cruelty-free list.
