The BUAV has been busy at the Liberal Democrat Party conference. The BUAV Policy Team met with a number of MPs supporting our call to Government to stick to its pledge and produce a clear strategy for reducing animal experiments. MPs showing their support include:
Norman Baker, MP for Lewes and Parliamentary Under Secretary for the Department for Transport, stated:
"When will the Government turn words into action on animal experiments?"
Mr Baker, formerly Liberal Democrat spokesperson on animal welfare, has a long record of supporting animal issues.
